Mythic Quest Season 3 Trailer Shows A Rivalry Brewing along with the Same Insane Humor We Love
Apple TV+‘s hit comedy series is returning for a new season and the streamer has released a trailer for Mythic Quest Season 3. The highly-anticipated new season is arriving next month. It has been over a year since fans got season 2 and with the next season upon us, many fans can get a tease of what’s to come.
The series centers around a fictional gaming development company that is behind the most successful MMO RPG. The series follows the happenings within the studio under the lead of their creative director Ian Grimm. The Second season saw Ian and lead engineer join forces to become co-creative directors and after finishing the ambitious expansion of their juggernaut game, they find that its time to let go and leave the Mythic Quest studio to go build a brand-new game.
Mythic Quest‘s season 3 synopsis reads:
“In season three, “Mythic Quest” follows a group of video game developers tasked with building worlds, molding heroes and creating legends, but the most hard-fought battles don’t occur in the game — they happen in the office. In season three, as Ian and Poppy navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the newly formed GrimPop Studios, Dana is forced to play mediator to her bosses’ incessant bickering.
Back at Mythic Quest, David settles into his new role as the boss where he truly finds himself in charge for the first time with Jo returning as his assistant — more loyal and militant than ever; and Carol attempts to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion. At Berkeley, Rachel struggles to balance her morals with capitalism, while a post-prison Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man.”
The series stars Rob McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Jessie Ennis, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, and Naomi Ekperigin. The third season will also see Joe Manganiello join the cast as the film version of Ian as the third season sees Mythic Quest getting a film deal touching on the origins of the studio.
McElhenney co-created the series alongside Charlie Day and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia scribe Megan Ganz. The series is executive produced by Michael Rotenberg, Nicholas Frenkel, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, Gerard Guillemot, Hornsby, and Ganz.
Mythic Quest season 3 will premiere exclusively on Apple TV+ on November 11th.
