Yellowstone: 1923 Teaser Trailer Reveals First Look at Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as the New Generation of Duttons
Paramount+ has released a teaser trailer for Yellowstone: 1923. The prequel series to Taylor Sheridan‘s hit series Yellowstone. The short teaser gives us our first look at series leads Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as the next generation of Duttons as they portray Jacob Dutton and Cara Dutton. Sheridan’s Yellowstone series has continued to expand and take us into the lives of different generations of the Dutton family and Yellowstone Ranch.
One thing we can expect from 1923 is the talents of two iconic stars and if the trailer is any indication, the series will bring more violence which the trailer voiceover perfectly points out, “Violence has always followed this family from the Scottish Highlands to the slums of Dublin, and it followed us here.”
The series will take place between the mainline series and the prequel series which sees Jacob and Cara face challenges at Yellowstone ranch including prohibition, droughts, pandemic, the looming threats in the area, and the upcoming Great Depression.
The mainline series which has brought life to the Sheridan-Verse is headlined by Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, and Cole Hauser. The previous spinoff 1883 included the star-studded cast of Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, and Marc Rissmann.
Joining Ford and Mirren in the newest journey for the Duttons are Sebastian Roché, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Jennifer Ehle, Julia Schlaepfer, Brandon Sklenar, and Robert Patrick. Sheridan serves as series creator and executive producer with John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson also executive producing.
