Geiger: Image’s Comic Series Getting Small-Screen Adaptation at Paramount
Geiger, the hit comic series from Image Comics created by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank is going to be adapted for TV. Paramount Television Studios is bringing in Justin Simien who will work with creator Johns. Johns is also set to write the pilot episode and executive produce alongside Jamie Iracleanos and Frank.
Fans of the series should look forward to seeing the world of Geiger and its characters on the screen, especially with the creators of the comic series being so involved. Set in the year 2050, Geiger centers around a radioactive family man named Tariq Geiger who spends his days and nights doing anything he must to protect the fallout shelter housing his family. When Geiger fights off a group of violent scavengers, he faces the wrath of the criminal empire they are connected to.
No official release date or time period has been announced but we will keep you updated as this series progresses.
