The Witcher 3 New-Gen Update Arrives Next Month

CD Projekt Red has revealed that the highly-anticipated new-gen update for The Witcher 3 will arrive next month. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still regarded as one of the biggest and greatest RPGs has been working on making its way to players on the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S for some time although it was hit with some delays, CDPR took the reigns on the project to bring their ambitious RPG to new-gen consoles and we now know we will get to see it this year.

The award-winning game will bring enhanced visuals and dozens of technical and performance enhancements. The new-gen update will also feature new content inspired by Netflix‘s The Witcher series which has also made headlines as of late with Henry Cavill departing the role of Geralt in the hit fantasy adaptation.

CDPR will host a live stream on Twitch showing off gameplay of the enhanced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt through their dedicated REDstreams event. This all goes down next week so be sure to keep an eye out on CDPR’s social media and streaming accounts for more updates on that. For those who need a refresher, the new-gen update will not only bring an enhanced version of the game and additional content but The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will feature all previously released DLC content including Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be available digitally on December 14, 2022, with a physical release following the digital release. Those who own any previous release of the game will get a free new-gen update when it rolls out digitally.
