Donald Faison (Clueless, Scrubs) has signed on to star in the upcoming live-action reboot series Powerpuff as the character Professor Drake Utonium. The series is being written by Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier and directed by Maggie Kiley based on the original Cartoon Network animated series created by Craig McCracken.
Jason Kothari, who executive produced Vin Diesel's "Bloodshot" has obtained rights to The Silent FLute, the martial arts project that was co-written by icon Bruce Lee in 1970. John Fusco will be writing the script and serving as executive producer.
HBO Max had previously announced that they picked up a two season revival of The Boondocks, with creator Aaron McGruder attached. Well, despite it's issues behind the scenes, McGruder confirmed via social media that the series will arrve in 2022.
