One-Punch Man Season 3 Announced By Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll has announced that the hit manga and anime series One-Punch Man will be getting a season 3 with production beginning soon. The announcement came with key visual art from character designer Chikashi Kubota that featured Saitama and Garou. Plot details are slim as the announcement did not detail what would arise out of the third season but more news is surely on the way in the future.
The hit anime series is adapted from the manga created by ONE and follows protagonist Saitama who is a powerful superhero that gains the ability to defeat any opponent he faces with a single punch. This leads Saitama on the quest to attempt to find an opponent who can provide a challenge to him. The series began as a webcomic in 2009 and has since seen itself become of the most popular mangas and anime series with multiple video game adaptations under its belt as well.
Its success has also led to the live-action film adaptation that recently picked up its writers in Venom‘s Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinker with Justin Lin directing the live-action adaptation. Along with the newly announced third season, Saitama seems to not have found a match outside of its universe as it continues to dominate in all mediums of entertainment as well.
Stay tuned for more updates and check out the key visual art below:
