Trigun Stampede: Johnny Yong Bosch Returns to Voice Vash the Stampede
Crunchyroll has announced that as Trigun Stampede makes its way to fans twenty-five years after the original Trigun series aired, Johnny Yong Bosch has been confirmed to reprise his role as Vash the Stampede for the English dub of the new series. This is very exciting news for fans of the original series and for those jumping into the series for the first time, a treat awaits you, fellow anime geeks!
The English dub begins airing in just a few days following shortly after the airing of the Japanese airing of the series on January 7, 2023. The series will air new episodes weekly on Saturdays making your weekend more action-packed as a stacked lineup of animes keeps hitting the anime streamer making for plenty of options in many different genres of anime available to fans.
Bosch shared his excitement about reprising his role with Crunchyroll, saying:
“Voicing Vash the Stampede in the original Trigun series is a role that literally launched my voice-over career and I am extremely excited to voice him again in this all-new anime adaptation from Orange. I look forward to going on this adventure with fans once more and hope new audiences enjoy the journey as well.”
The sci-fi space western Trigun Stampede will air its first English dub episode on January 21, 2023, with weekly episodes following.
