Fate: The Winx Saga Vol. 1: Dark Destiny Continues Netflix’s Winx Series

Mad Cave Studios and Rainbow Group have announced Fate: The Winx Saga Vol. 1: Dark Destiny, the new graphic novel continuation of the hit Winx series on Netflix. Written by Olivia Cuartero-Briggs and Illustrated by Christianne Gillenardo-Goudreau, the book follows a group of fairies enrolled at the magical school of Alfea in the wake of losing their close friend, Bloom.

A short time has passed since Bloom entered the Realm of Darkness to find her mother; she is still missing. Despite this, her friends at the magical school of Alfea are gearing up for a new year of classes, new students, and new challenges. Still reeling from the loss of Bloom, Aisha, Kat, Terra, Stella, Musa, Riven, and Sky are struggling to get used to their new normal.

When fairy powers attack the school few have seen before, our heroes are faced with a mystery and an enemy that could spell doom for them all. During their darkest hour, can they rely on the wielder of the Dragon Flame to return to them? Or has Bloom been lost forever? Find out in this exciting continuation of the hit Netflix series!

Fate: The Winx Saga, Vol. 1: Dark Destiny

The live-action adaptation on Netflix was canceled to many fan’s surprise but Winx Club creator Iginio Straffi is continuing the fantasy series through graphic novels as well as some upcoming projects including the series titled Gormiti- The New Era.

There are also plans for Winx to return in live-action form through a planned theatrical released film. Lastly, a reboot of the original Winx animated series is also in the works but all hangs on finding studios or streamers to partner with Straffi.

Fate: The Winx Saga Vol. 1 Dark Destiny will be released at your favorite local comic shop in July 2024.
