Creed III Trailer Reveals the Hard-Hitting Rivalry Between Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors

MGM has released the first trailer for Creed III. The threequel to the Michael B. Jordan-led film that sees him reprise his role as Adonis Creed. The film is slated for early 2023 and remains one of the most-anticipated films for 2023.

As Creed continues to carry the legacy of his late father Apollo Creed(Carl Weathers) and his trainer Rocky Balboa(Sylvester Stallone) he finds himself caught in a rivalry with a childhood friend who was recently released from prison. Much of the plot, including their past, is still a bit of a mystery but one thing the film guarantees is a hard-hitting showdown between Jordan and Majors.

The trailer shows Creed seemingly dominating the sport and on top of the world until his past catches up with him and in a bid to help an old friend, a rivalry brews which seemingly leads to the showdown.

Starring alongside Jordan and Majors is Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Selanis Leyva, Spence Moore II, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Tony “Bomber” Bellew, Jacob “Stitch” Duran, Canelo Álvarez, and Florian Munteanu. The film is helmed by Ryan Coogler from a screenplay written by Zach Baylin and Keenan Coogler based on a story by Ryan Coogler.

Creed III will premiere exclusively in theaters on March 3, 2023.
