Fortnitemares 2022 Features Evil Dead and Rick & Morty Skins

Epic Games‘ yearly Halloween event Fortnitemares is in full swing and with this season’s festivities come werewolves. Epic Games always takes full advantage of these events to provide players with new items and skins and this might be one of the best roundups of items for fans of horror with Evil Dead‘s Ash Williams, Rick & Morty’s Summer Smith, and Mr. Meeseeks being added in the game.

The gameplay trailer shows these characters in action as well as what players can expect from the event which shows the ability to turn into a werewolf in Fortnite. One additional fun feature is Ash shown using his iconic chainsaw which could be a limited-time weapon drop that might have been added for the event. We have seen this a few times before as Star Wars brought the implementation of blasters and lightsabers to battle royale island and most recently the Dragon Ball Z collaboration saw the Kamehameha and Nimbus join the fun.

The blog post from Epic Games revealed some of the events and features joining the game. Players can complete quests for these rewards and to obtain the werewolf abilities, you will need to visit the Reality Tree’s Alteration Altars and perform the Ritual Emote to receive the Howler Claws. Once you have these equipped, you will have access to the Wolfscent Ability which will give you heightened vision as well as the Slash Ability which delivers a devastating melee attack and the Air Slash Ability gives you the ability to double-jump and damage enemies in a radius.

Players will get to complete two daily quests that will unlock per day for the next 14 days to work towards unlocking the rewards. The event is live now so be sure to check it out!
