Evil Dead: The Game Army of Darkness Update Reveals New Map, Cosmetics, and Weapons
Saber Interactive‘s Evil Dead: The Game has released an Army of Darkness update that features a brand-new map, weapons, cosmetics, and a single-player exploration mode. The new update rolls out as a free update with some of the cosmetic items costing players some extra cash unless they own Season Pass 1 which includes this update, plus The Classics bundle, and two upcoming DLC packs.
The Evil Dead: The Game official description reads:
“Step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise and work together in a game loaded with over-the-top co-op and PVP multiplayer action! Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, managing your fear, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds in a game inspired by all three original Evil Dead films as well as the STARZ original Ash vs Evil Dead television series.”
The new update features new maps based on locations from the sequel film, Army of Darkness. You will see Castle Kandar, the Windmill, Fort Gort, plus more that are reminiscent of Sam Raimi‘s 1992 film. The medieval landscapes come with plenty of skeletal deadites to fight off using the two new weapons in the game including a Mace and Explosive Crossbow. The new Exploration mode lets players free-roam the iconic locations from Evil Dead: The Game.
The new cosmetics include Ash’s S-Mart outfit and Gallant Knight outfit plus a Medieval Bundle with new outfits (Henry the Red’s Scottish Vibe outfit, Glided Attire costume pack, and Lord Arthur’s Battle Prep outfit).

Evil Dead: The Game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the trailer below:
