All of Us Are Dead Renewed for Second Season By Netflix
Netflix has revealed that they have renewed the South Korean streaming sensation All of Us Are Dead for a second season at the streamer. Announced during Geeked Week, the cast of the popular series came together to release a video announcing the second season. The announcement confirms that we will be seeing more of the zombie-infested world and possibly get more answers on the mutation of the virus and the current state of the surviving students of Hyosan High.
The series put up some of the most impressive numbers at the streamer and came shortly after another streaming sensation with the hit series Squid Game. Both Squid Game and All of Us Are Dead became the first and second South Korean series to reach the #1 spot on Netflix‘s top 10 list in the United States. The series racked up 361.02M hours watched within its first 10 days and spent two weeks on the coveted Top 10 list
All of Us Are Dead was inspired by the webcomic Now at Our School by Joo Dong-Geun and was directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su from a script written by Chun Sung-il who also returns to write the episodes for season 2. The series starred Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo, Cho Yi-Hyun, Park Solomon, and Yoo In-soo.
No release date has been revealed for All of Us Are Dead season 2 but it will premiere exclusively on Netflix. Check out the announcement video below:
