The Imperfects Trailer Shows Off New “Coming of Rage” Superhero Series

Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming superhero TV series coming to the streamer titled The Imperfects. The upcoming series that the streamer describes as a “coming of rage” story will follow a group of teenagers who get special abilities as a result of a secret experiment.

We are introduced to Tilda Webber, Abbi Singh, and Juan Ruiz in the trailer. The three teenagers suffer from a reaction to a secret experiment. This is not your typical adverse reaction as the trio develops superpowers as a result of this experiment. On the surface, this may sound like a gift but the abilities cause changes to their bodies that seem more like a burden than a gift. Juan’s ability, for example, turns him into a blood-hungry beast while Abbi secretes poison through her skin and breath.

The series will star Morgan Taylor Campbell, Rhianna Jagpal, Celina Martin, Kyra Zagorsky, Iñaki Godoy, and Italia Ricci. The series was developed by Dennis Heaton, Shelley Eriksen, and Nomadic Pictures.

No release date has been revealed for The Imperfects but it will stream exclusively on Netflix. Check out the trailer below:
