Sympathy for the Devil Trailer Unleashes Nicolas Cage in Psychological Horror Film

RLJE Films has unleashed the Sympathy for the Devil trailer which stars Nicolas Cage and Joel Kinnaman in a psychological film that will send Kinnaman’s character and viewers on the wildest ride of their life. The film from director Yuval Adler did not reveal the plot details but the trailer seems to indicate that Cage targets Kinnaman and what ensues is a creepy-as-hell experience led by the unhinged mystery man keeping Kinnaman hostage.

Referred to as “The Passenger,” Cage puts it bluntly as he says in the trailer that “sometimes the worst is exactly what you should assume,” as he takes Kinnaman hostage while trying to get to his pregnant wife who is ready to give birth to their child. The gun-toting “The Passenger” seems to run Kinnaman through the wringer in what is sure to be a mindf**ck of a movie that will likely become more unhinged and darker as it plays out.

Starring alongside Cage and Kinnaman will be Cameron Lee Price, Rich Hopkins, Nancy Good, Kaiwi Lyman, Oliver McCallum, and Alexis Zollicoffer. The film was produced by Cage alongside Alex Lebovici, Allan Ungar, and Stuart Manashil. Christian Mercuri executive produced the film alongside David Haring, Marc Goldberg, David Sullivan, Tim Moore, Jason Soto, Courtney Chenn, and Waylen Lin.
