Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Gets Dimension Shellshock DLC Adding Usagi Yojimbo as Playable Character
Tribute Games has announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will get the Dimension Shellshock DLC which is bringing Usagi Yojimbo into the game as a playable character. The beat ’em-up arcade-style game is continuing the collaboration between the TMNT and the comic book series which has seen the two pair up multiple times in different mediums including a variety of TMNT animated series.
Usagi is a samurai rabbit warrior that originated from its self-titled comic book series in the 80s and has continued his adventures throughout the pages of comic book series since and also popularized with his appearances in TMNT projects over the years. The trailer highlights the Ronin’s abilities with a blade, showcasing sword thrusts and piercing strikes on enemies.
Along with the new character, the game will also feature a new game mode but no specifics were given at this time, and will also include new tracks from composer Tee Lopes as well as a new set of color schemes for the roster. These color schemes will be separate from the others coming our way in an upcoming free update.
