Expendables 4 Trailer Brings the Veteran War Dogs Back for More Action
Lionsgatehas revealed Expendables 4 trailer and it brings back the veteran war dogs for more action in the fourth entry of the film franchise. The Expendables 4, or Expend4bles brings back the familiar faces of Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, and Randy Couture for what could be Barney Ross’s final ride with the team as he prepares to hand over the reins of the team to Lee Christmas.
While Christmas will serve as a lead in the film and have a mixed bag of hurdles which includes his new love interest, Megan Fox, the team also gears up to take back a hijacked cargo ship containing nuclear materials along with the remaining new faces in the film which includes Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Tony Jaa, Andy Garcia, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Iko Uwais.
The previous film entries have seen a revolving door of talented stars come and go which has included Terry Crews, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Ronda Rousey, and Mickey Rourke. While these characters will likely not be returning by the looks of the trailer, they continue to build a roster of action stars of various backgrounds and is sure to deliver an action-packed outing for Stallone’s Barney Ross.
The film is helmed by Scott Waugh from a script written by Spenser Cohen, Max Adams, and John Joseph Connolly.
Expendables 4 will be released on September 22, 2023.
