South Park: The Streaming Wars Coming to Paramount+ in June
Paramount+ has announced a third special coming from South Park. The new special will be called South Park: The Streaming Wars and will be premiering exclusively on the streamer this June. The announcement came accompanied by a teaser trailer and key art that shows the next adventure hitting the small town of South Park. There is still a fourth special slated to release later this summer.
South Park: The Streaming Wars will feature Eric Cartman and his hilariously dysfunctional relationship with his mother. In the special, Catman and his mom will butt heads once again while the town of South Park, Colorado will be hit with a conflict that threatens the town’s existence.
The new special comes as South Park celebrates its 25th year in existence. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers on the upcoming special. Anne Garefino, Frank C. Agnone II, Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman are producers of the special. Christopher Brion serves as the creative director of South Park Digital Studios. With the epic deal that renewed the series through 2027, and also has brought these specials as part of the deal.
