Quentin Tarantino Talks About His Idea For A Godzilla Movie

Quentin Tarantino and Godzilla, who knew we’d hear those names in the same sentence. The famous director had a pitch for a Godzilla movie, unfortunately, nothing ever came of it.

Games Radar spoke with Tarantino and shared a quote of him talking about what he would have done and this was his response:

“I have an idea for a Godzilla movie that I’ve always wanted to do. The whole idea of Godzilla’s role in Tokyo, where he’s always battling these other monsters, saving humanity time and again – wouldn’t Godzilla become God?

It would be called Living Under The Rule Of Godzilla. This is what society is like when a big fucking green lizard rules your world.”

Tarantino’s dark humor and nonlinear storytelling mixed with Godzilla would be a very unique version of the legendary monster. Maybe one day we will see his vision come to fruition.
