New Single-Player Aliens Horror Game In the Works

20th Century Games and Survios have announced that they will be partnering on the development of a single-player action horror video game based on the film Aliens. The studio behind mainly VR titles such as Creed: Rise to Glory describes the upcoming untitled project as a single-player “immersive action horror game.”

On the official game website, the studio confirms the game is being built in Unreal Engine 5 and will feature an original story set between Alien and Aliens. Read the full description below:

“This new Aliens game will feature an original storyline, set between the Alien and Aliens films, where a battle hardened veteran has a vendetta against the Xenomorphs…”

That is all the information that was released at this time but Survios says to stay tuned during San Diego Comic Con‘s Alien: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe panel for more information.

The untitled Aliens video game does not have a release date but will release on PC, consoles, and VR. Stay tuned for more information.
