New Mid-Season Trailer for The Marvel Series WHAT IF…? – “There Is Still Hope in the Multiverse”
Marvel’s What If…? has been opening up he multiverse and introducing us to some interesting alternate realities. All of the episodes have been pretty great so far and seeing some of our favorite actors/actresses reprise their roles as our favorite Marvel characters again has been phenomenal.
Disney+ has released a new mid-season trailer for the series for you to watch today teasing what is coming in future episodes. There are a lot of characters coming back for more action including Spider-Man, T’Challa’s version of Star-Lord, evil Doctor Strange, Captain Carter, Thanos, and Loki.
The trailer also teases Tony Starks epic Avengers: Endgame Infinity Gauntlet moment, Ultron makes a comeback, it teases The Avengers coming together, and it looks like T’Challa and Howard the Duck are going to be spending some time together.
With only four episodes left this season, the description of the trailer teases, “Witness the biggest heroes of the multiverse as they navigate alternate realities on a collision course toward an unforgettable finale.” Check out the trailer below!
Marvel’s What If…? is an anthology series where The Watcher looks at instances of where the MCU could have gone in a completely different direction. It will examine the 23 past films in the MCU, but each of the stories will feature one key difference showing how the story would have played out differently.
Jeffrey Wright serves as the narrator for What If…?, voicing the all-seeing Watcher and he’s joined by Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Taika Waititi as Korg, Toby Jones as Arnim Zola, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, and Michael Rooker as Yondu. We’ve learned that Clark Gregg‘s Phil Coulson will return. Benedict Cumberbatch will also reprise his role as Doctor Strange as will Rachel McAdams, who plays Dr. Christine Palmer. Don Cheadle will also reprise his role as War Machine. On top of that, Carrie Coon and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor will reprise their roles of Proxima Midnight and Ebony Maw.
