New Daredevil Series in the Works at Disney+

Matt Murdock is set to make his way back to the small screen with reports that a new Daredevil series is in the works at Disney+. The upcoming series will be written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord. There has not been an official announcement about who will play the Man Without Fear but it is a safe bet that Charlie Cox will return to reprise his role from the Marvel/Netflix series given his recent cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Variety confirmed that longtime rumors that have been surfacing since Cox made his cameo appearance as Peter Parker’s lawyer in No Way Home. No official announcement or comment has come from Marvel Studios but expect to hear something soon with hopefully more details on the series. Corman and Ord previously collaborated on the USA Network original series Covert Affairs that starred Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham. The series was a popular one for the network and bodes well for what kind of series Daredevil was during its time on Netflix.

Another Daredevil character had already made the jump into the MCU before Cox’s appearance in No Way Home when Vincent D’Onofrio‘s Kingpin/Wilson Fisk made his appearance as the antagonist of the Disney+ series Hawkeye. With other Marvel series that premiered on Netflix, this could open the door for them to make the jump into the MCU. Although some series were more successful than others, it all led to the crossover series of The Defenders. We also saw Alaqua Cox portray Echo in Hawkeye and Disney+ just released the first look at the upcoming spinoff series.

Disney+ just gave us a look at another one of their Marvel series coming to the streaming service with the first trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law being released. The series sees Tatiana Maslany in the role of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in what looks to be a lighter and comedic tone to the MCU with She-Hulk attempting to navigate the struggles of being a superhero and the struggles that come with being a single woman in her 30’s.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

We will have to wait for an official word from the studio to get more details but this is definitely good news for Marvel fans especially if they manage to bring back Cox and other series regulars such as Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, or Rosario Dawson.
