Liv Tyler is Returning to the MCU in Captain America 4
Liv Tyler is returning to the MCU in Captain America 4 as reported by THR. Tyler will reprise her 2008 role as Betty Ross that she played in The Incredible Hulk which starred Edward Norton. Fifteen years later, she now will emerge in the Marvel cinematic universe in the Anthony Mackie starring Captain America: New World Order.
We have all seen Thaddeus Ross play a significant role at Marvel and will be returning in the new film with Harrison Ford taking the place of the late William Hurt. With Ross playing an antagonist at various points in the MCU and his upcoming role in Thunderbolts, it’s no surprise we will see Betty also returning in some capacity. The Incredible Hulk has also played a role in MCU in a somewhat infamous fashion as it introduced us to Robert Downey Jr.‘s Tony Stark and also saw Abomination return in not only Shang-Chi but She-Hulk as well.
It will be interesting to see in what capacity Tyler returns as she was a love interest of Banner and with Black Widow out of the picture, we could see a re-emergence of another leading female character joining the fold alongside Banner/Hulk. You never know with Marvel so only time will tell.

Captain America: New World Order is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 3, 2024.
