PHXLIGHTS: Among The Stars 2023
We are joining together again under the Phoenix sky to try and appease the aliens. This year PHXLIGHTS: Among The Stars is being held at the Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, Arizona. The difference between 2022 and 2023 PhxLights is that we are going to be heading into the racetrack to attempt abduction and listen to some of the top EDM artists.
Phoenix Lights is themed around aliens to represent the 1997 phenomenon where thousands of people spotted unidentified flying objects and strange lights above Arizona and Nevada. We are trying to bring the aliens back by giving them light shows, showing off our laser beams, and sacrificing our favorite EDM artists. This year’s lineup for Phoenix Lights is wild, we have two nights of crazy talented people.
Day One headliners; Sed’s Vortex, Mokst, Trivecta, San Holo (DJ set) Afrojack, and Martin Garrix.
Day Two headliners; Pat Riot, Wenzday, Crankdat, AC Slater, Diesel, and Ganja White Night.
Both nights do have supporting artists at other stages as well like DJ Peachy Keen who is quickly becoming a star in the EDM scene! This year’s Phoenix Lights nights are sponsored by; aerīz (Aeroponic Cannabis), Beatbox Beverages, Gen Z (Outdoor/Festival Gear), Pricklee Cactus Water, Raceway Express car wash, Radiate App, Voodoo Ranger, and White Claw. Some of our spotlight artists include Ganja White Night, Martin Garix, Afrojack Martin Garix, and San Holo. Ganja White Night‘s unique blend of early UK bass and reggae vibes has quickly made them a fan favorite in the electronic music scene, and I am excited to see them live because of their captivating live performances.
With a full ensemble, the duo is able to express themselves more freely on stage, creating a truly immersive experience that transports their audience to their own mini-universe. Their ability to combine music with storytelling through their animated music videos and narrative-driven performances is unlike any other act in electronic music today. I am excited to witness firsthand the energy and creativity that Ganja White Night brings to their live performances and to be a part of the community that is drawn to their iconic Wobble sound.
Who is ready to cry? Phoenix light has you covered with San Holo. San Holo is bringing his music to Phoenix once again. If you know Sander he will not be holding back. Relentless Beats is once again bringing all the European DJs into town to take us to another dimension. We have Martin Garix and Afrojack who are crossing the pond. The speedway will officially be illuminated as we all get to gather on the speedway, or shall we call it the extraterritorial plane?
