Pimp Killer: “Got pimp problems? Then LA Jones is your woman”

Artillery Network has announced a brand-new graphic novel titled Pimp Killer. The upcoming series will see investigator LA Jones going head-to-head with Luciano “Lucky” Strykes after the murder of a woman in Reno makes him her number-one suspect. The graphic novel is penned by Ghezal Omar with art by Ayhan Hayrula, and cover art by Phillip Ginn. 

Artillery’s description of Pimp Killer reads: 

“She’s made a nice little business for herself over the last few years: hunting down pimps. Following the murder of a young woman in Reno, she turns her attention to Luciano “Lucky” Strykes, a low-life pimp hiding out in Hollywood. Lucky is notorious for torturing women who try to flee him, and LA is more than willing to dish out her own brand of justice, making this a match made in vengeance.”

Omar shares that the action comedy genre also points to a very serious subject matter, saying: 

“While the book is written as a dark action comedy, it tackles a very serious subject. The character of Lucky is notorious for torturing women who try to flee him. I was determined to create a female heroine who was more than willing to serve her own brand of justice.”

Pimp Killer will make its debut at C2E2 in Chicago, IL in artist alley booth #V-04. This will mark the first entry in a series of three graphic novels. You can snag a copy at C2E2 or by visiting pimpkiller.com
