Hogwarts Legacy Delayed Until February 2023
Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software‘s Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed and is now set to release in 2023. The upcoming RPG is set in the Harry Potter universe created by J.K. Rowling and will let players take the role of a student at the famed school of witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts.
The game’s official social media account made the announcement which stated Hogwarts Legacy will now arrive in early 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy will launch at a later day which will be announced in the future. The dev shared in their social media post that “The team is excited for you to play, but we need a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience.”
The game has shown promise in the previous footage revealed and was originally set to release in 2021 before being delayed into this year. Now, Hogwarts Legacy will be arriving next year. The developers recently released an extensive look at the upcoming PS5 DualSense features.
Hogwarts Legacy will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on February 10th, 2023 with the Nintendo Switch version of the game released at a later date.
