Pennyworth Season 3 Teaser Trailer and Title Revealed
HBO Max has released the Pennyworth season 3 has gotten a teaser trailer and title reveal. The prequel series to Gotham was renewed for a third season late last year and it was also announced that it would make a jump from its previous home on Epix to HBO Max.
The series follows a young Alfred Pennyworth in his days before becoming the trusted guardian of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The third season is officially titled Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler.
HBO Max‘s synopsis of Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler reads:
“Season three of the psychological thriller begins after a five-year time jump: the civil war is over, and a cultural revolution has changed the world for better or worse – ushering in a new age of Super Heroes and Supervillains.”
The series stars Jack Bannon as Alfred Pennyworth with Ben Aldridge starring in the series as a young Thomas Wayne. They are joined by Emma Paetz, Paloma Faith, Ryan Fletcher, Dorothy Atkinson, Ramon Tikaram, Harriet Slater, and Simon Manyonda. The series was developed by Bruno Heller who also executive produced the series alongside Matthew Patnick, Danny Cannon, and John Stephens.
Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler will premiere on HBO Max this October. Check out the teaser trailer below:
