Hit Prime Video Series REACHER Renewed For Season 2
Just four days after premiering on Prime Video, the hit series Reacherhas been renewed for season 2. The series adaptation of Lee Child‘s novel series was led by actor Alan Ritchson and within just four days proved to be a success ranking among Prime Video’s top five most-watched TV series, and opened the door for the second season to be greenlit by the streamer.
The first season of the series which was mainly adapted from Child’s first novel in the series, Killing Floor, followed Jack Reacher as he finds himself in the small town of Margrave and is wrongfully arrested for murder. Reacher, a former military police investigator then works to clear his name and begins to unravel a conspiracy that includes familial ties and corruption that runs deep in the small town Georgia town.
“The entire Reacher team—cast, production, writers, etc.—is so happy with the wonderful reception the show has received,” said showrunner and executive producer Nick Santora. “Amazon, Skydance, and Paramount have been such fantastic partners and everyone is excited to roll up their sleeves and get to work on what will be a great Season Two.”

So I’m thrilled we’ll be working together again, for season two,” said Child. “This is very exciting news, and I can’t wait to get started. Reacher couldn’t be in better hands.”
Starring alongside Ritchson is Malcolm Goodwin, Wila Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Hugh Thompson, Maria Sten, Harvey Guillen, Kristin Kreuk, Currie Graham, Marc Bendavid, Willie C. Carpenter, Maxwell Jenkins, and Bruce McGill. Executive producing alongside Santora and Child is Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost.
