Heels Season 2 Trailer Gets Us Ready for the Return of the Duffy Wrestling League

Starz has revealed the Heels season 2 trailer which features the Duffy brothers and the Duffy Wrestling League searching for their identity and patching the damage done in the prior season. We also see Jack Spade looking to bring his life and the DWL back in order as he continues to struggle to balance his life at home with that of the mastermind behind DWL.

The series starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig as Jack and Ace Space last saw an actual brawl spill out during the Duffy Wrestling League debut at the Georgia State Fair last season.

As the two brothers continued to delve into a trending path of bad choices that saw their loved ones and professional life suffer, it all came to a head during the finale. As the brother beat the living hell out of each other, the moment was saved by Crystal (Kelli Berglund) who claimed the moment by climbing the ladder and earning the Duffy Wrestling League World Championship Title.

Season 2 puts the spotlight on Crystal who now holds the gold and wants to defend that title she earned in the ring. This is the opening for other talent to enter the fold as we see AJ Mendez as one of the new faces in the second season. As mentioned, Jack is looking for balance in his life and all while keeping the DWL in the spotlight while dealing with the rival promotion. Season 2 is upping the ante and is showing us it is looking to top the previous season with more action inside and outside of the ring.

Starring alongside Amell, Ludwig, Berglund, and Mendez is Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Willie Day, Allen Maldonado, Chris Bauer, Trey Tucker, Robby Ramos, Alice Barrett Mitchell, Roxton Garcia, David James Elliot, Joel Murray, CM Punk, Josh Segarra, and Emmy Raver-Lampman.

The series is executive produced by Mike O’Malley who also serves as showrunner and stars as Charlie Gully on the series. The series was created by Michael Waldron. Christopher Donnelly, Pete Segal, Patrick Walmsley, and Julie Yorn also serve as executive producers.

Heels Season 2 will premiere exclusively on Starz on Friday, July 28, 2023.
