Heels Season 2 Release Date and First Look Images Released Featuring the Spade Brothers Back in the Ring

Starz has revealed the Heels season 2 release date and first-look images showing the Spade brother back in the ring for more action as the series makes its way back to the small screen this July. The series starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig as Jack and Ace Space last saw a real brawl spill out during the Duffy Wrestling League debut at the Georgia State Fair.

As the two brothers continued to delve into a trending path of bad choices that saw their loved ones and professional life suffer, it all came to a head during the finale. As the brother beat the living hell out of each other, the moment was saved by Crystal (Kelli Berglund) who claimed the moment by climbing the ladder and earning the Duffy Wrestling League World Championship Title.

Season 2 will likely answer many of the burning questions left with the end of season one as fans have been patiently waiting for the series to make its way to the small screen for quite some time. Some of these questions are just how fractured is Jack and Ace’s relationship. Can Jack earn his wife and child back after showing time and time again that he cannot loosen his grip on their father’s promotion which he so desperately clings onto without letting anyone help no matter how much trust he has in them?

And what is in store for the wrestling league after Crystal nabs herself a world title? She has proven she can hang in the ring with any of the stars in the league but will this introduce a women’s division and bring in a new slate of talent?

This is part of the charm of the series that offers much to not only fans of wrestling. The series delivers a taste of the spectacle of being in the wrestling business. The series also delves into the family dynamics and personal lives of what it’s like to be part of a smaller promotion with dreams of making it big as many of the aspiring athletes do while attempting to catapult themselves and their careers into the next level.

Starring alongside Amell, Ludwig, and Berglund is Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Willie Day, Allen Maldonado, Chris Bauer, Trey Tucker, Robby Ramos, Alice Barrett Mitchell, Roxton Garcia, David James Elliot, Joel Murray, CM Punk, AJ Mendez, Josh Segarra, and Emmy Raver-Lampman. The series is executive produced by Mike O’Malley who also serves as showrunner and stars as Charlie Gully on the series. The series was created by Michael Waldron. Christopher Donnelly, Pete Segal, Patrick Walmsley, and Julie Yorn also serve as executive producers.

Heels Season 2 will premiere exclusively on Starz on Friday, July 28, 2023.
