CW’s Gotham Knights Trailer Reveals Misha Collins’ Harvey Dent in a Gotham Without Batman
The CW has released the first trailer for their upcoming DC series Gotham Knights. The series will take some familiar heroes in the Batman Universe and put them in a Gotham City without its caped crusader after the death of the Batman. The trailer was released via social media and sets up the world that viewers will jump into once the Batman spinoff series premieres.
The series description reads:
“Bruce Wayne is murdered and his adopted son forges an alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies. As the city becomes more dangerous, these mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors, known as the Gotham Knights.”
The trailer gives us our first look at Misha Collins as Harvey Dent who is investigating the murder in Gotham City and winds up with quite a group of suspects. Starring alongside Collins will be Olivia Rose Keegan, Navia Ziralli Robinson, Anna Lore, Fallon Smythe, Tyler DiChiara, Oscar Morgan, and Rahart Adams.
The series was written by Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, and Natalie Abrams. Fiveash and Stoteraux will also serve as showrunners on the series as well as executive produce alongside Sarah Schechter, and Greg Berlanti. The pilot was helmed by Danny Cannon.
Gotham Knights will premiere on The CW in 2023. Check out the trailer below:
