Fortnite X My Hero Academia Crossover Takes the Battle Royale Beyond Plus Ultra!
Epic Games has announced that the Fortnite X My Hero Academia crossover has arrived. After the previous collaboration with Dragon Ball Super, the battle royale game now brings in your favorite characters from another hit anime and manga series as the characters of My Hero Academia invade Battle Royale island. The crossover brings new items, new rewards, a new game mode, new challenges, and plenty of skins and emotes to the Item Shop.
In the Item Shop, players can purchase outfits for some of the top heroes in the anime including All Might, Katsuki Bakugo, Izuka Midoriya, and Ochaco Uraraka. Each character will feature their own back bling and pickaxe along with two new emotes available as well. In the game, special All-Might care packages will be available and will include a new item called Deku’s Smash which will do just what you think as you pummel down on your enemies and structures with the power of One-For-All.
The new game mode will take players to the Hero Training Gym where you have three classes to select from to engage in team battles. Players will earn Rescue Points as their squad gets eliminations or captures the Rescue Zones on the creative mode map. The first team to earn 100 points is crowned the best Hero team.
There will also be limited-time My Hero Academia quests that will earn players XP and rewards. You can complete these quests in both battle royale and the Hero Training Gym mode. Check out the listed missions below:
- Complete the “Assist in Eliminating Opponents on the Hero Training Gym island” Quest to earn the Deku Spray.
