Elden Ring Official Manga is Released and its a Comedy
Elden Ring has gotten an official manga that has been released and features familiar characters such as Malenia, Melina, and Radahn. Unlike the dark lore that embellishes the game, the manga series takes the world of Elden Ring and gives it a comedy treatment. PC Gamer reported that fans can find the manga free online and is available in twelve different languages. The manga was published by Kadokawa which is FromSoftware‘s parent company.
The official synopsis reads:
“Aseo, a poor, Tarnished wretch, finds himself cast out into Limgrave—naked, penniless, hopeless, and maidenless. His only hope in his harsh, unforgiving new home is a mysterious woman named Melina. She urges him to follow the guidance of grace to the Erdtree that looms over the Lands Between. But it won’t be an easy road; a cast of colorful characters awaits Aseo along the way—Patches the Untethered, Blaidd the Half-Wolf, Margit the Fell Omen, Godrick the Grafted, and of course, Ranni the Witch…With little but a loincloth between Aseo and certain death, he strikes out for the first stop on his quest: Stormveil Castle. Will he make it there, or will his journey end before it even begins?”
The manga, which is labeled as a gag manga, is written by Nikiichi Tobita who was the artist behind the manga A Cursed Sword’s Daily Life. The manga is set to feature “many familiar boss characters and important characters from the original game will appear, including Blaidd the Half-Wolf, Margit the Fell Omen, Godrick the Grafted, and Ranni the Witch! You can find out how they appear in the manga and how they relate to Aseo.”
Two chapters of the manga series are currently available with new chapters releasing on the 4th and 19th of each month. Elden Ring has been a sensation among fans as the soul-inspired title put up record numbers since its release in February. Now fans can jump back into the universe of Elden Ring in a different experience.
