AMONG US Will Arrive On PlayStation and Xbox Consoles This December
The popular video game Among Us has been all the rage since its launch. Having first risen to popularity on PC, the whodunnit multiplayer game that has been tailored to turn friends on each other as an intruder sabotages the rest of the team has since made its way to mobile gaming and the Nintendo Switch. Well, those who have been eagerly awaiting for the game to make its way to PlayStation and Xbox, have only a couple of months to wait as it will be arriving this December.
This is a great game to play with friends and the ease of playing the game paired along with the hilarious antics of pointing the finger at one another while an impostor sabotages and laughs maniacally as everyone turns on each other is really the heart of the game. It’s a simple game that has brought many gamers a ton of fun just relaxing with their best pals. Given the state of the world since the beginning of the pandemic, Among Us arrived at a time that really paved the way for its success as it became a staple for staying connected with friends, and video games in all forms really grew exponentially.
“Have friends on other devices? No worries,” a PlayStation Blog post about the announcement reads. “The PlayStation version of Among Us allows for crossplay so everyone can play together. [Four-player to 15-player] lobbies are supported with online multiplayer.”
The Xbox Wire also mentioned the announcement and Among Us will be dropping on the same day as the PS4/PS5 with access to the game via the Xbox Game Pass. Although they do not mention crossplay in their announcement, it’s safe to assume crossplay will be available on all platforms, so get your friends together and get ready to test those friendships!
Among Us hits PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass on December 14.
