Alligator Loki Set to Star in his Own Spinoff Comic Series
Marvel Comics has announced a bit of news that fans of the Loki series might be able to bite down on. The lovable variant that Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki comes across known as Alligator Loki is getting his own spinoff in the form of an Infinity comic series.
Alligator Loki will debut their new twelve-issue comic series that will be available exclusively on the Marvel Unlimited App. The series will be written by Alyssa Wong with art by Robert Quinn and colors by Pete Patazis. The first issue is already available on Marvel Unlimited and will have new chapters released every other Friday per the Marvel press release.
The comic series blurb reads:
“For his entire life Thor has only known one brother, Loki. Known to all as conniving, sneaky, and cunning! But a new Loki is ready to take his place. He may be smaller, he may be cuter, and… an alligator?! But don’t be deceived, Alligator Loki is just as wily as his human counterpart, and he is ready to cause trouble.”
The first issue features Alligator Loki and Thor at an Asgardian amusement park as they work to get to know one another. Some of the images, which you will get to see below, feature Thor carrying Alligator Loki in a sling wrap and riding a rollercoaster all while exploring and bonding.
Having made his debut in Disney+‘s Loki, the new character, which was based on an actual reptile, won over fans, and with Loki season 2 having been announced already, we can all hope to see our reptilian friend on screen again. In the meantime, we can enjoy his adventures in comic form.
