Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Trailer Unleashed at CCXP

Paramount Pictures has unleashed the first trailer for the upcoming film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts at CCXP. The film is inspired by the popular Transformers storyline of the 90s, Beast Wars which will also be the entry-point for a new film trilogy.

The film will exist within the Transformers film universe and be a follow-up to the 2018 spin-off movie Bumblebee. The war between the Autobots and Decepticons continues and the new trilogy will introduce new factions to the universe of the live-action films. The trailer gives us our first look at the Maximals and Predacons who transform into, you guessed it, metallic animals. The upcoming battle between these two factions will span the entire globe as the universe of Transformers expands.

Paramount’s trailer description reads:

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.”

While a new war wages upon Earth, the film will also give fans a look at the origin of our hero faction the Autobots, and shed light on Optimus Prime’s determination to protect our planet. One thing to note is that this will all take place before the original Transformers film which will give fans a brand-new plot to explore and explore the origins of some of our favorite characters.

The film will star Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Vélez, Tobe Nwigwe. Peter Cullen will voice Optimus Prime with Ron Perlman joining the cast to voice Optimus Primal, Pete Davidson will voice Mirage, and Michelle Yeoh joins the cast to voice Airazor.

The film is helmed by Steven Caple Jr. working from a script penned by Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt. Michael Bay returns to the franchise after directing the first five films and will produce Rise of the Beasts alongside Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and Duncan Henderson. Steven Spielberg will executive provide the film alongside Biran Goldner, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer, and Valerii An.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will arrive in theaters on June 9, 2023.
