The Wheel of Time Season 2 is quickly approaching, and Prime Video has just released the first trailer. It’s been nearly two years since we first saw the show skyrocket to popularity, and now we’re heading back to the unnamed world Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson created.

We will see our favorite characters returning as they make their way to the streaming platform. As the series was slated to return last summer, fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter of Jordan and Sanderson’s fantasy universe. Although many of us what seemed to be the defeat of the Dark One, we all witnessed the final warning of evil forces lurking in the dark. This and many questions remained unanswered and after 2 years, we will finally see the unraveling of some of these mysteries.
The series stars Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Zoë Robins, Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, Kae Alexander Daniel Henney, Ceara Coveney, Sophie Okonedo, Priyanka Bose, and Barney Harris. The series was created for television by showrunner Rafe Judkins who is also an executive producer. Larry Mondragon, Rick Selvage, Ted Field, Mike Weber, Darren Lemke, and Marigo Kehoe also executive produce. Pike produces the series alongside Harriet McDougal and Sanderson.
This series has captivated readers and although it was a long road to get here, we are as ready as ever to embark on the journey of this next venture in the fantastical world of The Wheel of Time. The series has already been greenlit for a third season which adapts the fourth novel in the book series titled The Shadow Rising.
The Wheel of Time Season 2 will stream exclusively on Prime Video on September 1, 2023.
