Mad Cave Studios Announces Horror Teen+ Series The Mammoth

Mad Cave Studios has unveiled the upcoming Teen+ series The Mammoth. The series is penned by the acclaimed horror comic writer Paul Tobin, known for his work on Plants vs. Zombies, and illustrated by artist Arjuna Susini of The Bone Tribe.

The colors are handled by Pippa Bowland, with letters by Charles Pritchett, and editor James Emmett overseeing the production. The debut issue of The Mammoth will showcase two variant covers, one by Jessica Fong, known for her work on Poison Ivy, and the other by Kevin Wada, known for She-Hulk.

The storyline delves into the mysterious and perilous depths of Broke Tree Valley, where an ominous and colossal presence disturbs the tranquility. Referred to in local legends as a monstrous and enigmatic phantom that vanishes for extended periods, “The Mammoth” poses a significant threat upon its return.

As a team of scientists – Olivia, Jess, Kokoro, and Mason – arrive in the city of Kasbro to investigate unusual seismic activity in the densely wooded valley, they are confronted with the daunting task of neutralizing the Mammoth. Complicating matters further, one member of the team, Olivia, is deceased.

Arjuna Susini also shared his thoughts on the project, remarking:

“Drawing this story was a fantastic experience. Thanks to Paul and Mad Cave, I immersed myself with the characters in this abyss of madness, where love, death, and the metaphysical meet, leaving a profound trace.”
