The First Omen Trailer Unleashes the Antichrist in Horror Prequel
The upcoming prequel film, The First Omen, is set to take audiences back to a time before Damien, providing a glimpse into the events that set the stage for his rise. The teaser trailer offers an eerie preview glimpse into the film, showcasing a young American woman in Rome who encounters darkness, leading her to question her faith and uncover a terrifying conspiracy aiming to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.


The film’s logline reads:
When a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.
Featuring Nell Tiger Free, Tawkeef Barhom, and Sonia Braga in leading roles, along with Ralph Ineson and Bill Nighy, The First Omen is directed by Arkasha Stevenson, known for her work on Legion.
The story, based on characters created by original Omen writer David Seltzer, was developed by Ben Jacoby, with Stevenson contributing to the screenplay alongside Tim Smith and Keith Thomas. David S. Goyer, producer of Hellraiser, and Keith Levine, producer of The Night House, produced the film, with Tim Smith, Whitney Brown, and Gracie Wheelan serving as executive producers.


Audiences can anticipate the arrival of The First Omen in theaters on April 5th, 2024.
