Spy X Family Season 2 Trailer Reveals the Return of the Forger Family
Crunchyroll has officially released the trailer for season 2 of Spy x Family, the anime series based on Tatsuya Endo‘s highly acclaimed manga. Set to premiere on October 7, the second season will continue the adventures of the Forgers, a unique family consisting of a spy father named Loid, an assassin mother named Yor, and their telepathic daughter, Anya.
In the final episode of season 1, Loid found himself juggling multiple missions while also dealing with Operation Strix, which took a toll on him. Season 2 will explore the intertwining of Loid’s personal and professional challenges, potentially putting his loving yet unconventional family at risk. With the arrival of Yor’s skeptical brother and new adversaries or complications related to Loid’s undercover operations.


The trailer highlights Yor’s internal struggle as she questions the purpose of her role as an assassin. This introspection leads her to contemplate the bond she shares with the Forgers, emphasizing the tight-knit nature of their family.
The talented ensemble cast includes Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger, and Saori Hayami as Yor Forger. Spy x Family season 2 is brought to life by the renowned animation teams of WIT Studio, known for Attack on Titan, and CloverWorks known for Rascal Does Not Dream series. The season is co-directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi and Takahiro Harada.


Crunchyroll will exclusively offer both subtitled and dubbed versions of Spy x Family season 2 in various languages across all regions, including English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and German. New episodes will be released weekly, starting from Saturday, October 7, following their airing in Japan.
