Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Trailer Shows Off the Next Entry in Miles Multiversal Adventure

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The highly-anticipated sequel to the animated sensation Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The trailer kicks off with a heartfelt moment between Miles and his mother as we slowly see bits of the exciting Spider-Verse sequel. Just like the previous film, the trailer blows up into a colorful array of awesomeness with teases of the characters that will appear in the upcoming film. Some familiar faces, some new faces, and some very exciting reveal Sony has shared with us already, including Spider-Man 2099 and more.

Having found his place and become Spider-Man in his own right. Miles now sees his world expand even further and there will be TONS of webs slinging from what we can see as we get a quick snippet of what looks like Spider-Heroes from all over the Spider-Verse. We already know that Jason Schwartzman‘s The Spot will be the villain in the film, but Miles seems to have his hands full with more than just our antagonist.

The stellar cast includes Schwartzman, Shameik MooreHailee Steinfeld, Jake JohnsonIssa Rae, and Oscar IssacThe film will be helmed by a trio of directors made up of Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson who will work off a script penned by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Dave Callaham.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to release in theaters on June 2nd, 2023.
