Rise of the Ronin Reveal Trailer Shows off Team Ninja’s Upcoming PS5 Exclusive [State of Play]

Team Ninja along with PlayStation have announced the upcoming action game titled Rise of the Ronin. The upcoming title will arrive in 2024 as a Playstation 5 exclusive. Revealed during the State of Play presentation, revealed a beautiful landscape for players to explore in the action RPG as players journey as Ronin as Japan enters its new era. The project has been in the works for seven years the press release revealed with the title paving the way to release the spirit of the Ronin in 2024.

Taking place at the end of the 300-year Edo Period of 19th century Japan. Players will embark on an open-world adventure as a Ronin, that will bring players the renowned combat that Team Ninja is famous for with a Katana at your disposal while also exploring the unique weaponry available during the time period that featured firearms.

With the trailer featuring sprawling landscapes, that even see players taking flight with a glider, and a quick-paced and bloody action sequence, the game looks promising with what appears to be many different landscapes we will stumble upon during our travels.

Rise of the Ronin will release on PlayStation 5 in 2024.
