Like a Dragon: Ishin Coming to the West from Yakuza Developer [State of Play]
Announced during today’s State of Play presentation, Like a Dragon: Ishin. will be making its way to Western markets after a PlayStation 3 and Playstation 4 release in 2014 from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The title will now be rebuilt completely from the ground up as it makes its way to the West next year.
Taking place in the 1860s during the Late Edo Period, the Yakuza spin-off title follows Sakamoto Ryoma as he returns home after completing his sword training and crosses paths with a prestigious samurai. The rest of the story is in the player’s hands as the history of Japan rests in your hands in 2023.
Like A Dragon: Ishin will release on PlayStation 4 and Playstation 5 in February 2023.
