Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods – Rick Riordan Announces Sixth Book in Percy Jackson Series
Author Rick Riordan has announced that he is working on the next entry in the Percy Jackson novel series which will be titled Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods. This will make the new book the sixth entry in the popular fantasy series that has seen itself adapted to film and TV.
The series previously had two film adaptations with Disney+ developing a TV series that is currently in development and looks to adapt each book into a season of the series. The news of the new book not only gives fans of the book series something to look forward to but could possibly extend the TV series plans at Disney which Riordan is also involved in the development process.
Riordan made the announcement on social media and confirmed that The Chalice of the Gods will be arriving in 2023 to continue the story of Percy Jackson, Grover Underwood, and Annabeth Chase. This series will be continuing the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series which ended back in 2009 even though a sequel series was released featuring the same characters.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods will be available everywhere books are sold on September 26th, 2023.
