Ballerina: Norman Reedus Joins John Wick Spinoff Film

Lionsgate‘s John Wick franchise is expanding and one of those projects is the upcoming spinoff film Ballerina. The spinoff film is set to be led by Ana de Armas. Another big name that many fans are sure to be happy to see join the project has surfaced as The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus joins the John Wick spinoff film. The roster of talent on the project keeps growing and based on the information gathered about the film, this is shaping up to be a possible continuation rather than a spinoff.

Reedus and Armas will star alongside Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Keanu Reeves who was previously revealed to be appearing in the film as well. The film is helmed by Len Wiseman with a screenplay written by Shay Hatten. The film is produced by Erica Lee who also told Deadline of Reedus’ casting:

“We’re huge fans of Norman, and we’re confident that the fans will be just as excited as we are that he’s joining the Wick universe. He’ll make an incredible addition to Ballerina.”

No official release date is set for Ballerina but you can get your John Wick fix early in 2023 as John Wick: Chapter 4 releases in theaters on March 24, 2023.
