New Trigun Stampede Trailer Reveals Release Window
TOHO Animation and Studio Orange have revealed a new trailer for Trigun Stampede along with a release window for the highly-anticipated anime series. The new series will serve as a prequel to the popular manga and anime series which follows a brand-new story of Vash the Stampede and will arrive in early 2023.
The official Youtube channel for TOHO Animation released the new trailer which shows more of the new 3d CGI animation that will be brought to viewers from Studio Orange. Those who aren’t familiar with the studio can check out Beastars to get an idea of what they can expect. The new trailer shows both familiar and new faces with the trailer revealing fan-favorite Meryl Stryfe(Sakura Andou).
This is the second trailer to arrive ahead of the series release with the previous trailer coming during July’s Anime Expo and if you follow the official Trigun Twitter account, then you likely have seen the concept art they have been dropping for us. The popular series first saw life in 1995 when the manga released by creator Yasuhiro Nightow. After a short hiatus, the manga returned with the title Trigun Maximum and saw the story reach its conclusion in 2007. The manga saw an anime adaptation in 1998 that ran for 26 episodes with a film adaptation in 2010 titled Trigun: Badlands Rumble.
Trigun Stampede will be directed by Kenji Moto and will star Yoshitsugu Matsouka, Maaya Sakamoto, Tomoyo Kurosawa, Yumiri Hanamori, Junya Ikeda, Kenji Matsuda, and Yoshimasa Hosoya.
Trigun Stampede will release in January 2023 with Crunchyroll planning to simulcast the new series from Japan across over 200 countries.
