New Halo Trailer Gives Fans A Fantastic Look at the Paramount+’s Video Game Adaptation Ahead of Premiere
Paramount+ released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming video game series adaptation of Halo. The series premiered at SXSW and gave fans an early look at the highly-anticipated series based on the video game franchise of the same name. Following a war between humanity and an intergalactic threat known as the Covenant, Dr. Halsey (Natascha McElhone) creates genetically enhanced super-soldiers in an effort to win the war. These soldiers called “Spartans” combat the alien force led by Master Chief Spartan John-117 (Pablo Schreiber) who commands the Spartan unit.

“Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future. In a war for humanity’s very survival, our deadliest weapon is our greatest hope. Master Chief, Cortana, the Covenant, and the other Spartans of Silver Team will fight to find the Halo, and win the war.”
Being an adaptation of one of the most popular video game franchises has put Halo at the top of the audience’s most anticipated series. Although recent video game entries in the franchise haven’t been well received, it still remains one of the most prominent video game franchises with a huge fan base that is eager to see this universe come to life. This trailer should fuel that fire as the action-packed trailer with key character moments is absolutely breathtaking. The Halo universe aims to deliver on everything down to the landscapes.
Kyle Killen and Steven Kane will serve as showrunners on the series. The series also stars Kerin Ha, Jen Taylor, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Bokeem Woodbine, Yerin Ha, and Danny Sapani. Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, and Steven Spielbergexecutive produce Halo for Amblin Television.
