MultiVersus Gameplay Footage Debuted Ahead of Closed Alpha
Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games have debuted gameplay footage for MultiVersusahead of the closed alpha scheduled to arrive for the multi-platform brawl-for-all game. The first official gameplay released put Pros vs. Devs in an exhibition match. The eighteen-minute video featured pro-fighting game players NAKAT and VoiD squaring off against developers from Player First Games which included director Tony Huynh and principal developer Daniel Kraft.
The gameplay video showed what the matches will be looking like when players get their hands on the brawling game. The gameplay video showed gameplay for Tom and Jerry, Superman, Shaggy, and Wonder Woman and you will get a good look at the playability of these characters in the video below.
The first look at gameplay also came accompanied by the announcement that Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games will be taking MultiVersus to EVO this August for a 32-team tournament with a prize pool of $100,000. With MultiVersus already successfully completing some smaller alpha tests, the game is ready to enter the larger alpha test phase on May 19th, 2022. MultiVersus does not currently have a release date but will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as a free-to-play game with full cross-play and cross-progression capabilities. Check out the gameplay video below:
