MultiVersus Cinematic Trailer Reveals The Iron Giant, Taz, and More, Open Beta Coming This July

Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games have released a cinematic trailer for their upcoming free-to-play brawler MultiVersus. The devs have already given us a gameplay demonstration, along with the first look and announcement of a tournament going down at this year’s EVO tournament. The new cinematic trailer revealed new characters that will be joining the already expansive roster with characters including Taz the Looney Tunes Tazmanian Devil, The Iron Giant, and Velma from Scooby-Doo.

A closed alpha test is set to take place from May 19th through May 27th. If you are interested in participating in the closed alpha test, visit the game’s official website to sign up. Along with the closed alpha test, an open beta is also going to be coming at a later date with the open testing taking place in July. If you don’t get the opportunity to participate in the closed alpha this month, your chance to brawl it up is only a few weeks away in July when everyone will get a chance to play with their friends in the open beta test.

MultiVersus does not have a set release date but is set to arrive this year on PlayStation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The game will offer full cross-play and cross-progression. Check out the cinematic trailer below:
