Alan Ritchson Cast in Fast X Mystery Role
Alan Ritchson has been cast in a mystery for the upcoming Fast & Furious franchise film Fast X. Deadline reports that he will join the growing list of stars joining the film to star alongside film franchise star Vin Diesel. Ritchson just gave a stellar performance in Amazon Prime Video‘s original series Reacher which has led to Ritchson flying high on the Hollywood radar.
Making his debut in The CW‘s Smallville and going on to star in series such as Blue Mountain State and DC‘s Titans, Ritchson is no stranger to action and Reacher further affirmed his ability to be able to bring some serious action to any film and makes him a perfect fit for the high-octane adventures in the Fast & Furious franchise.
Joining Diesel and Ritchson will be Tyreese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Charlize Theron, and Sung Kang. They are joined by newcomers Jason Momoa and Brie Larson. Louis Leterrier will helm the film after reports of Justin Lin‘s exit from the film after reported tensions between Lin and Diesel.
Fast X is expected to be part of a two-part franchise finale and will arrive in theaters on May 19th, 2023.
