Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Demo Available Now, More Monsters and Areas Revealed
Capcom revealed a new trailer and more information regarding Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak during the Capcom Showcase including the reveal of a demo that is available as of today. With Sunbreak taking players back to the completely redone Jungle area with beaches and ruins thrown into the mix, players will come across new landscapes and monsters including Espinas. The monster covered in sharp spines makes its return from Monster Hunter Frontiers to instill its rage on hunters.
Also returning is Gore Magala, the terrifying monster from Monster Hunter 4 that will be no easy prey even without sight and will punish hunters by entering a frenzy and two horns appearing on its head. There will also be two variations of monsters from Sunbreak with Daiyo Hermitaur from Monster Hunter 2 and Pyre Rakna-Kadaki from Monster Hunter Rise.
The developers talked about the post-launch plans for Sunbreak as they detail the roadmap for content that will start with the first major patch in August including Lucent Nargacuga along with a new hunting area called Foremorn Arena. More updates will arrive in the Fall and winter updates along with new and variant monsters coming in 2023.
The demo for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is dropping tomorrow on both Switch and PC. The free trial will include the new Jungle area to explore, and players will be able to hunt the already announced Astalos and Malzeno.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will arrive on the Nintendo Switch and PC on June 30th, 2022. Check out the new trailer below:
